Job Opportunity

BHN is seeking a Controller in our corporate office in Gilbert, Arizona.  This person is someone who is a motivated team player with a hands-on leadership style and strong work ethic.  This position will be responsible for all accounting and financial reporting for the company and its subsidiaries, both foreign and domestic.  The ideal candidate will be a CPA or CPA candidate with a knowledge of GAAP standards, familiar with manufacturing, and experienced using an ERP software (preferably NetSuite).  This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and currently manages 2-3 staff. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and manage month-end close process, journals, account reconciliations and related tasks
  • Maintain inventory item records, including cost accounting, and oversee inventory counts/adjustments
  • Establish proper internal controls and procedures and provide oversight to operations/sales
  • Manage treasury operations of both domestic and foreign bank accounts, including assisting with credit compliance reporting
  • Provide payroll review and oversight
  • Liaison with external accounting firm on all tax matters
  • Account for ownership equity and shareholder distributions
  • Administer management/departmental cost allocations
  • Provide administration of ERP (NetSuite)
  • Maintain company credit card program
  • Assist in budgeting process and reporting
  • Assist CFO with tasks as required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 plus years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of tax accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems a must. Experience in NetSuite a great plus.
