Job Summary:

We are seeking a legal assistant/paralegal to join our HR & Administration Team at the corporate office. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal or paralegal background, be very organized and detailed-oriented, and experience in helping with corporate record keeping, contract management, commercial insurance, legal documentation, government regulations and registrations, as well as all related matters handled by the department.


How you will spend your time:

  • Responsible for Overseeing All Legal Services Provided by Outside Law Firms.
  • Responsible for Negotiating and Acquiring All Business Insurance Policies – Domestic and Foreign.
  • Responsible for Contract Creation, Negotiation, and Management.
  • Responsible for Intellectual Property Management and Trademark Registrations with USPTO.
  • Responsible for all International Document Processing, Including Authentication Through Country Embassies, as Required.
  • Assist with Shareholder Relations and Record Keeping.
  • Assist With Searching for And Making Initial Contacts regarding potential Merger and Acquisition Opportunities.
  • Assists In Performing Due Diligence Reviews for All Potential Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • Assist With Labor and Employment Issues and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Assist With Compliance Needs with Government Regulations and Registrations – International, Federal, State, County, And City.
  • Assist With Drafting, Creating and Implementation of Employee Policies and Procedures.
  • Take up all Other Duties as Assigned.



  • Training and experience with corporate law.
  • Experience with commercial insurance acquisition, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience with contract management, negotiation, and record keeping.
  • Experience with governmental regulations and registrations.
  • Strong communication and people skills.
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish or another foreign language is a plus.
